Who is Paul?
Paul Cheek is a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Senior Advisor for Entrepreneurship & Artificial Intelligence at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. He teaches in MIT’s entrepreneurship programs and advises the next generation of founders building at the frontier of AI.
He is the founder of the AI-Driven Enterprise Institute (AIDE Institute), a research and advisory organization studying how organizations can systematically replace human labor with autonomous AI systems. The Institute’s proprietary research — including a landmark study of every executive in the S&P 500 — forms the empirical backbone of No One Works Here.
Paul is also the founder of Entonomy, a company that develops the data systems and software infrastructure that power AI agent-run businesses. Entonomy is the laboratory where the book’s frameworks are stress-tested against real organizational complexity.
A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and recipient of MIT’s Monosson Prize for entrepreneurship, Paul has been recognized as one of the most influential voices in AI-driven organizational design. His work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Forbes, Inc., and across the leading business media.
His first book, Disciplined Entrepreneurship: Startup Tactics (Wiley, 2024), became a bestseller and is used in entrepreneurship programs at universities globally. No One Works Here is his second Wiley title.
Paul keynotes for boards, PE firms, global summits, and corporate leadership programs. His talks combine the rhetorical force of a provocation with the tactical density of a masterclass.
